BTLA Med Spa offers Dysport for $2.60/unit for 150+ units and $2.99/u (minimum 75 units) to patients in The Woodlands, Spring, Conroe, Houston Texas and surrounding areas. Dysport is a neurotoxic protein used to diminish wrinkles and fine lines by paralyzing the underlying muscles.  Appropriate for use in both women and men, Dysport is one of the leading non-surgical treatments to combat facial lines and wrinkles.   Dysport is preferred by the majority of our patients as an alternative to Botox because it is less expensive, requires less, and typically lasts longer.  Have you considered switching from Botox to Dysport?

Dysport  |  Botox  |  Xeomin FAQ's

How many units of Dysport/Botox/Xeomin do I need?

Unit quantities vary by patient, treatment area, and desired result.  A typical starting dose for Dysport averages around 75 units in the Glabella and 30 units of Botox or Xeomin in the Glabella, but again, it varies by individual, how strong your facial muscles are, and desired end result.

What is the difference between Dysport, Botox, and Xeomin?

Dysport, Botox, and Xeomin are three name brands of Botulinum Toxin Type A.  Dysport is preferred by most of our patients as it costs less and can last longer.  Xeomin is like Botox with the cost savings of Dysport and is the purest of all 3 as it's been stripped of accessory proteins.

How many days does it take to see full effect of Dysport/Botox/Xeomin?

For Dysport and Botox, weakening of the injected muscles begins to appear as early as 2-3 days, however, it takes approximately 10-14 days to see full effect.  Xeomin takes approximately 4 days for full effect.

How often should I get Dysport/Botox/Xeomin?

The minimum length of time between treatments is 3 months.  For most patients results can last 3-6 months.  Beyond that, it varies by patient, treatment area, and how individual bodies metabolize the product.

What guidelines do I need to follow prior to Dysport/Botox treatment?

Please refrain from taking Aspirin, Ibuprofen (Motrin or Advil), Naproxen (Aleve), blood thinners (*please verify your blood pressure medication is not a blood thinner), anti-inflammatory medications, St. John's Wart, Ginger, Garlic, Ginko Biloba, high doses of Vitamin E, or Omega-3's for 5 days prior to your Dysport/Botox/Xeomin appointment.  This helps limit the risk for bruising and bleeding and avoids it having an adverse affect on whether we can provide treatment at that time.

Approved medications include: Acetaminophen (Tylenol)

Can I exercise after my Dysport/Botox/Xeomin treatment?

Please refrain from engaging in any activity/exercise for 24 hours post injection.

Will Dysport/Botox/Xeomin injections cause bruising?

Bruising varies widely by patient, treatment area, and dose.  It is not uncommon to bruise at the injection site and usually resolves in 3-4 days.

What are you minimums?

Our minimums are as follows: 75 units for Dysport appointments, 30 units for Botox appointments, and 30 units for Xeomin appointments.  Units may no longer be banked - this includes Dysport, Xeomin, and Botox (excluding existing units banked).
